Frequently Asked Questions

This work is relational, trauma-aware, and guided by listening rather than force.

Your Questions Answered

  • This work is ceremonial, trauma-aware, and rooted in listening rather than force.

Across  Shamanic Healing, Breathwork, Yin, and Ceremony, the emphasis is on nervous-system regulation, subtle-field awareness, and creating conditions where healing can emerge naturally from our innate state of wholeness.  Rather than fixing or pushing toward change, we tend the field and allow what is ready to move to do so in its own time.

  • Shamanism is an ancient, cross-cultural way of working with healing that centers relationship — with body, spirit, land, ancestors, and the unseen dimensions of experience.

In contemporary practice, shamanism is less about performance or identity and more about listening to the subtle and relational field where imbalance and wisdom often arise first. It is a way of sensing, responding, and restoring right relationship.

  • Shamanic healing is a form of healing work guided by deep listening to the field beneath the story.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms or narratives, this work attends to body sensations, emotions, images, and energetic information that may arise in the moment. Sessions are held gently and with care for pacing, consent, and nervous-system safety.

Depending on what is present and ready, a shamanic healing session may include elements such as soul retrieval or compassionate energy release.

  • Soul retrieval is a shamanic practice based on the understanding that aspects of ourselves may withdraw during experiences of shock, trauma, or loss as a form of protection.

Rather than something being “lost,” these parts are understood to be waiting for safe conditions to return. Soul retrieval supports their gentle reintegration through invitation and relationship, never force.

This work is always approached in attunement with the nervous system and what feels ready to be received.

  • Compassionate energy release is a respectful, trauma-aware way of working with energetic patterns, influences, or presences that no longer belong in someone’s field.

This work is not about struggle, fear, or force. It is guided by discernment, consent, and compassion — allowing what does not belong to release while supporting regulation and safety.

In practice, this work is often subtle, grounding, and deeply relieving.

  • Frequency healing works with the understanding that the body, nervous system, and subtle field are vibrational and responsive.

Rather than imposing a frequency, this work listens for where coherence has been disrupted and supports the system in remembering its own natural rhythms. This may involve subtle energetic attunement, sound, breath, imagery, or focused presence.

The intention is always to support resonance, not override.

  • Water spirit healing is a form of shamanic healing rooted in relationship with water as a living, intelligent presence. In this work, I channel the spirit of water through deep listening and attunement, allowing its wisdom to guide the healing process with gentleness and flow.

This may involve working with the waters of the body — fluids, fascia, breath, and emotion — as well as with water as a spiritual ally. The intention is never to impose change, but to support the waters in restoring their own movement, coherence, and resilience.

All offerings are held with attention to pacing, choice, and regulation. You are never asked to push past your limits or relive experiences before your body is ready.

Healing here is invited, not forced.

  • No.

You do not need to believe anything or use spiritual language for this work to be supportive. You’re welcome to engage in a way that feels honest and grounded for you.

  • Sensitivity is welcomed here.

You are always encouraged to move at your own pace, rest when needed, and stay connected to your body’s signals. Sensitivity is treated as information and wisdom, not something to overcome.

  • Yes.

Sessions may be offered for animals, often by distance, and are held with the same care, consent, and relational listening as human sessions.

  • Yes.

Many offerings are available online or by distance, including Yin Yoga, Breathwork, Shamanic Healing, and some ceremonial work. Distance sessions are held intentionally and within clear containers.

  • If you’re unsure, that’s okay.

Each offering meets the system differently, and you’re welcome to reach out. We can listen together and let the right doorway reveal itself.

  • You don’t need to prepare in any special way.

You may be invited to bring simple supports such as water, a blanket, or a candle, depending on the offering. More than anything, you’re invited to arrive as you are.

What This Work Is Not.

This work is offered with care, discernment, and respect for each person’s autonomy. To support clarity and safety, it may be helpful to name what this work is not.

  • Healing here is not driven by pressure, catharsis, or outcome-seeking. Nothing is pushed, extracted, or rushed. Change is invited through listening and relationship, not imposed through effort or will.

  • While it may complement therapy, medicine, or other healing modalities, this work does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical or mental health care.

  • You are not asked to adopt a spiritual framework, identity, or worldview. You are welcome to engage with curiosity, skepticism, or neutrality. The work meets experience before belief.

  • Although non-ordinary awareness may arise, the focus is always on integration, regulation, and meaning, not intensity or spectacle.

  • You are never asked to surrender your agency, intuition, or discernment. This work is designed to support self-trust, internal authority, and embodied choice.

  • Readiness matters. Timing matters. Your body and nervous system lead the way.
