Animal Healing

Healing Sessions for Horses and Animals

How This Work Supports Animals

I offer healing sessions for horses and other animals experiencing:

  • Sensitivity or reactivity

  • Trauma, stress, or shutdown

  • Physical tension or unexplained discomfort

  • Transitions (new homes, herd changes, relocation)

  • End-of-life thresholds

Each session follows the animal’s own rhythm.

There is no protocol—only listening.

They feel everything.

Their nervous systems speak through subtle shifts—rhythm, tension, breath, and presence.

This work meets them there.

This work is non-invasive, trauma-aware, and guided by the animal’s comfort and communication.

Sessions may include:

  • Energy-based support (Reiki, sound, stillness)

  • Nervous system co-regulation and resonance

  • Shamanic healing and earth-based practices

  • Subtle touch (only if welcomed) or no physical contact

This work engages both the nervous system and the subtle relational field through which animals communicate and regulate.

The animal leads.
I follow.

How Sessions Are Held

For the Guardians

Animals often mirror or carry aspects of the environments and relationships they live within.

You are welcome to receive your own session—before or after your animal’s.

This can support:

  • regulation and grounding

  • grief or emotional processing

  • deepening your relationship with your animal

  • creating a more coherent shared environment

End-of-Life Support

This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in. For animals approaching the end of life, I offer compassionate, grounded support for both the animal and their guardian.

This work creates space for:

  • comfort and regulation

  • emotional and energetic anchoring

  • honoring the transition with presence and care led by a shared commitment to quality and care.

Testimonial

My horses were struggling to get along. I have a mare (Freya) and a gelding (Java) that had been introduced about 3 months ago. Freya was always squealing and kicking, while frequently pinning the gelding in a corner. Prior to Java arriving at the barn, Freya was on her own and seemed very content and loving.

Emily’s presence is calm and peaceful. She spent hours observing the horses, just standing and breathing with them. The horses welcomed her presence and would slowly wander toward Emily, eyes blinking, and licking and chewing. Emily did not reach out to them or try to pat them. She was completely calm and non invasive. Both Freya and Java loved being around her. They would sidle up and stand with her. It has been 2 weeks since Emily was here and both Freya and Java are much more peaceful and grounded. There are still instances of ears going back and mild kicking to assert dominance but way less than when Emily arrived. Emily’s presence is magical and beautiful. The horses dropped their heads and stood completely relaxed in Emily’s presence.

I also had a soul retrieval session with Emily. It is very difficult to put into words what this session did for me; it was immensely powerful.  My nervous system gave a huge sigh of relief after my session. I am calmer and more peaceful and loving, especially toward myself.

The time I spent with Emily both with the horses and without was a beyond fabulous experience. I would recommend working with her with every fiber of my being. I will CERTAINLY continue to work with her.

Closing

This work is not about fixing the animal.

It is about creating the conditions where they can settle, release, and return to a more natural state of balance.
