Meeting the Spirit of the Fire Horse

In preparation for our Year of the FireHorse retreat, Jessica (my collaborator) and I went on a Shamanic  journey to meet the spirit of the Fire Horse for the first time. The experience was overwhelmingly beautiful.  Not chaotic, not theatrical, but deeply alive and coherent.

The first medicine that came through was reverence without collapse.

A vast heart field.
An open chest.
A strong back.

Not bowing from diminishment.
Not standing in dominance.
But meeting life upright, heart-forward, and steady.

And walking this way in the collective. As embodied presence.

The Fire Horse carried a quality of power and sovereignty in a freedom that was untamed without being erratic. This was not fire burning wildly or scattering its force. This was fire in relationship and guided by instinct, presence, play, and awareness.  This was fire that illuminates, transforms through sacred passion.

From Snake to Horse: Resonance Rises

We were shown how the Year of the Snake teaches us to bring our belly to the Earth — to feel her wisdom through proximity, listening, and resonance along the ground.

The Horse changes the geometry.

With four legs, resonance rises.
We are lifted without leaving the Earth.
We gain two more points of contact.

Through the hooves, we feel the field.
Through the spine, we transmit it.

And when the horse runs, it thunders.

Sound itself becomes medicine and transmission.

The Fire Horse does not simply move through the field .

It changes the field by moving.

Coherence, Motion, and the Living Field

When the Fire Horse and I began to move together, I didn’t feel energy leaving my body.
I felt it emanating.

My body were a brilliantly organized form of life — fully coherent, fully present — interacting with the field in a living dance. Not pushing. Not discharging. But radiating.

Pulsing in the plasma.

The field responded.

It felt like those moments of slow motion — like in The Matrix — where time stretches, perception sharpens, and every movement is precise. Nothing wasted. Nothing rushed. Just deep presence shaping reality as it moves.

The Fire Horse showed us that when the body is coherent, movement doesn’t deplete us. It reshapes the field through resonance. Like ripples spreading across water when a stone is dropped — not from force, but from sacred pattern creation and expansion.

Motion as communion.
Presence as power.
The body not as something energy moves through, but as something energy moves from.

Fire That Plays, Fire That Frees

There was also play. Sensuality. Pleasure.

The Fire Horse carries joy in its body not as indulgence, but as vitality. Freedom as the truth of the soul. Part of that freedom, we were shown, dances in the mane.

The mane moves as the horse moves.
It catches the wind.
It expresses aliveness.

Adornment without vanity.
Expression without apology.

The Fire Horse mirrors us that freedom is felt  in the chest, in the spine, in the rhythm of the legs, in the sound we make when we move through the world. When we move with the herd in our own authenticity.

The Technology of Resonance

In a time saturated with external technologies, the Fire Horse mirrors back to us an older, deeper intelligence:

The body as instrument.
The heart as field.
Movement as medicine and soul alignment.
Resonance as power and living into our truth even if the ground shakes.

This is not about leaving the Earth behind.
It is about standing more fully on her and allowing what moves through us to move the world in return.
