As autumn draws inward, the natural world slows, and we prepare for Thanksgiving and all that may mean and bring up, we gather to honor the quiet terrain where grief and gratitude meet—not as opposites, but as reflections within the same soma and field. 

This ceremony is not about healing or closure.
It is an invitation to pause, to feel, and to breathe with what remains.

Together, through breath, Yin-inspired stillness,  a gentle ritual of release and remembrance, and an opportunity to speak into the shared space, we’ll explore how even the hollow places in us can hold a soft light.

• We won’t ask the ache to disappear.

• We won’t search for silver linings.

• We’ll simply offer space—for the ache to echo, for memory to ripple, and for grace to sit beside it all.

Gratitude becomes not an answer—but a rhythm.
Grief becomes not a weight—but a waveform.
